Bally Rewards Club
Anyone gambling or staying at Bally’s Evansville can participate in the Bally Rewards Club, a loyalty program that offers various perks and rewards. Participants earn Bally Bucks when they gamble in the casino. These can be redeemed in a variety of ways.
After receiving a Bally Rewards Club card, slot players can insert the card into the machine to receive credit for their play. When playing table games, present the card to the dealer or croupier when you take a seat.
When it comes time to redeem Bally Bucks, options include exchanging them for cash, bonus bets or casino credit in the following ratios:
- 2,000 Bally Bucks = $1 cash
- 1,000 Bally Bucks = $1 free slot play
- 500 Bally Bucks = $1 food or merchandise credit
At the same time, Bally Rewards Club members earn Tier Points as they play. During the calendar year, those points designate their status. There are four tiers in the program:
- Pro — 0 to 3,999 points
- Star — 4,000 to 14,999 points
- Superstar — 15,000 points and above
- Legend — by invitation only
Going up in tiers means more perks for the player, with the higher tiers offering benefits ranging from better parking options and more food credits, all of the way up to lounge access, extra VIP services and travel packages. Going up in tiers also means getting Bally Bucks Multipliers, which help players earn Bally Bucks more quickly.
While there are many Bally’s properties around the country, all of which offer the Bally Rewards program, you can use Bally Bucks only at the property where you’ve earned them. In other words, if you accumulate Bally Bucks at Bally’s Evansville, you have to redeem them there as well.

Bally’s Evansville history
Indiana first legalized riverboat gambling in 1993. A couple of years later in Dec. 1995, Aztar Corporation, an Arizona-based hospitality company, opened Casino Aztar, the first riverboat casino to set sail in the state. As required, the property constantly cruised the Ohio River, that is until 2002 when lawmakers authorized dockside gaming. At that point, it parked ashore in Evansville. Within a year, the casino had entertained more than 2.3 million visitors.
The property then underwent expansions, including a couple of different adjacent hotels before Aztar Corp. was acquired by the Columbia Sussex Corp. of Kentucky in 2007. The property’s new owners endured some trying years, including a bankruptcy filing by Tropicana Entertainment, an affiliate of Columbia Sussex and parent company of Aztar Corp. Tropicana emerged from those difficulties, however, and resumed full operation of the hotel-casino.
In 2013, the property was rebranded as Tropicana Evansville. Then in 2015, the state legalized land-based casinos, and the following year regulators permitted Tropicana Evansville to relocate to land. The transition took a year and a half before the new land-based hotel casino reopened in Oct. 2017.
In 2018, Tropicana Entertainment sold the land to Gaming and Leisure Properties and the casino and its operations to Eldorado Resorts, which soon after merged with Caesars Entertainment and continued under the Caesars name.
Bally’s Corporation already owned and operated over a dozen casinos in the US when it purchased the operating casino from Caesars for $140 million, completing the acquisition in June 2021. The same deal saw Gaming and Leisure Properties begin leasing the land to Bally’s for $28 million per year. By October 2021, the property’s name was changed to Bally’s Evansville Casino.
