mychoice Rewards loyalty program
Like other Penn Entertainment properties, Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg Indiana invites visitors to participate in the mychoice Rewards loyalty program.
The tier-based program enables participants to accumulate two different kinds of points—tier and comps. You earn tier points every time you play a game in the casino or spend money at the property. As you accrue tier points, you ascend to a higher tier. You have one year to accumulate tier points. They reset to zero every April.
In the casino, tier points accumulate at different rates depending on the game you play:
- slots = 1 tier point for every $5 wagered
- video poker, sports betting = 1 tier point for every $10 wagered (every $5 for parlays)
- electronic table games = 1 tier point for every $40 wagered
- table games = depends on game type
Meanwhile, when dining or shopping at the property, you also earn 1 tier point for every $5 you spend. Tier levels are then determined as follows:
- Choice — 0 to 999 tier points
- Advantage — 1,000 to 17,999 tier points
- Preferred — 18,000 to 49,999 tier points
- Elite — 50,000 to 199,999 tier points
- The Owners Club — 200,000 or more tier points
The higher your tier, the more benefits you receive. Those making the upper tiers can receive VIP parking and lounge access, free room upgrades, travel reimbursement, VIP seating and priority access to special events.
Meanwhile, you also earn comps points (aka, mycash) at varying rates whenever you play slots, table games, video poker or bet on sports, as well as whenever you spend money on the property. These comps points can be redeemed on-site for cash, free play at slots or table games, discounts for retail shopping and dining, hotel room discounts and more.
Note the casino also participates in the myheroes program offering discounts and other benefits to active-duty military, veterans and first responders.

Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg history
The property now known as Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg began as a riverboat casino. It opened as the Argosy Casino on Dec. 13, 1996, one of several riverboat casinos operated by the Argosy Gaming Company on the Ohio, Mississippi and Missouri rivers.
The Argosy Casino was a joint venture between Argosy and the Indiana Gaming Company. The three-level boat measured more than 400 feet in length and contained almost 75,000 square feet of gaming space. At one time, this Ohio River spot was the largest riverboat casino in the country.
In 2004, Penn National Gaming (now Penn Entertainment) acquired the Argosy Gaming Company, taking over casino operations. A major expansion was soon undertaken, and in 2009 the original Argosy boat was replaced with an even larger one, a new $336 million property renamed Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. The new casino had nearly doubled the gaming space of the previous one and could handle as many as 9,000 passengers at a time.
Like many other original Indiana riverboat casinos, Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg no longer sets sail but operates as a land-based property on the edge of the Ohio River.
