ClutchBet Sportsbook is on its way to Indiana. The Australian gambling company just signed a new market access deal with Caesars Entertainment.
ClutchBet is joining a handful of betting apps that are already in the Indiana sports betting launch pipeline.
ClutchBet Indiana partners with Horseshoe Hammond
BlueBet, the brand that owns ClutchBet Sportsbook, already has the market access it needs to launch in Colorado, Louisiana and Iowa. Now Indiana is joining the list of future states for the betting app.
The company expects to open for business in Iowa first.
ClutchBet’s new deal with Caesars is what’s giving the company access to Indiana’s betting industry.
In Indiana, online sportsbooks have to partner up with a retail casino before they can start taking bets. Since ClutchBet is working with Caesars, the sportsbook is teaming up with one of the company’s casinos in the Hoosier State.
Horseshoe Hammond will be ClutchBet’s retail partner. The casino is already working with Unibet Indiana.
The deal between Caesars and ClutchBet is a 10-year partnership. In other words, ClutchBet plans to be in Indiana’s market for the long haul.
BlueBet CEO Bill Richmond is thrilled with the company’s recent expansion.
“We are excited to announce our agreement with Horseshoe Hammond, part of the Caesars Entertainment stable, to secure market access in Indiana, one of the US’s major sporting markets. BlueBet now has market access in four US states, which provides a strong platform to roll out our B2C brand, ClutchBet, and demonstrate the capability of our technology and team to run
profitable sportsbooks in the US.”
New Indiana sportsbooks 2022
ClutchBet is making its way to Indiana, but it isn’t the only company that has its eyes set on the state.
There are a handful of other online sportsbook brands that also plan to launch in Indiana in the near future.
So far in 2022, SBK Sportsbook has been the only new betting app to open for business. That’s on track to change dramatically by the end of the year.
All of the following companies are hoping to make their Indiana debuts sooner rather than later:
- MaximBet
- SI Sportsbook
- fubo Sportsbook
- PlayUp Sportsbook
- betprophet
- Hard Rock Sportsbook
Even with TwinSpires and theScore Bet both shutting down in the state, these new options will more than make up for the difference.
It will take some time for ClutchBet to actually start taking wagers in Indiana, but with a Caesars partnership in hand, the company has already taken the first major step towards launching in the state.
