Indiana Sportsbooks Kick Off Start Of MLB Playoffs With New Betting Offers

Posted on October 6, 2021 - Last Updated on March 20, 2024

The 2021 MLB Playoffs are already off to a hot start.

The Boston Red Sox knocked off the New York Yankees in the AL Wild Card Game yesterday. Boston’s 6-2 win was enough to slide them into the next round to face the Tampa Bay Rays.

Playoff action continues tonight with the St. Louis Cardinals facing off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL Wild Card Game.

Legal Indiana sportsbooks are ready for MLB playoff betting action. Since so many games are taking place over the next handful of weeks, there will be all sorts of options out there for gamblers.

MLB World Series betting odds

Another year, another set of MLB playoff games for Hoosiers to bet on.

Indiana gamblers wagered over $68 million on baseball during August. That number should hold steady now that playoff games are taking place.

When it comes to the betting odds, the Dodgers are the favorites to win the World Series. That could change as the playoffs progress, but at least for now, oddsmakers like LA’s chances at winning a second-straight championship.

DraftKings Bet $1 Win $100 on MLB

DraftKings has a brand-new sportsbook promotion out there for MLB bettors.

However, the deal is for new users only. If you’ve already used DraftKings before, then you won’t be able to take advantage of this promotion.

The “Bet $1 Win $100” deal is exactly what it sounds like. If you’re looking for a good value to help you start off on the right foot, then this promotion is for you.

First thing’s first, you’ll have to sign up for DraftKings Indiana in order to take advantage of the deal.

Next, be sure to deposit at least $5 into your new sportsbook account.

Once things are all set up, just bet at least $1 on any MLB Playoffs game taking place between Oct. 6 and Oct. 17. Your bet will need to be a moneyline wager to fit the parameters for the deal.

After you’ve made your selection, you’ll win $100 in bonus bets if either team records a hit during the game. That makes this a home-run in the world of sportsbook promotions since it’s essentially a can’t-lose deal for new gamblers.

Sportsbooks offer deals like this in order to attract new bettors. The promotion is meant to be a guaranteed win for customers.

If you end up using the deal, then DraftKings will credit the $100 to your account as four $25 bonus bets.

FanDuel MLB Same Game Parlay Bonus

FanDuel IN is making sure that it doesn’t miss out on the MLB Playoffs betting fun, either.

The sportsbook is offering its own new promotion, although this one is centered around same game parlay (SGP) betting.

If you bet at least $20 on an SGP with at least three legs, then FanDuel will credit your account with $10 regardless of whether or not your bet wins.

If you’re only wagering $20, then this promotion is a good way to ensure that you only lose half your money if things go wrong.

Your SGP will need to have odds of at least +400 in order to qualify. In other words, a +500 bet would make the cut but -150 odds would be falling short.

Your $10 will expire after seven days, so be sure to place another wager before it’s too late.

More sportsbook promotions will trickle out during the MLB Playoffs. If neither of these deals sound interesting, then keep an eye out for more new offers.
