Pat McAfee’s Betting Record Hits Speed Bump During NFL Week 9

Posted on November 9, 2020 - Last Updated on March 20, 2024

Pat McAfee’s football betting picks weren’t so hot this past weekend.

McAfee had back-to-back winning weeks heading into NFL Week 9, but couldn’t extend that streak this time around.

The former Indianapolis Colts player’s picks went 2-4 over the weekend.

This week was an odd one for McAfee since he didn’t make any college football betting picks. He typically makes an appearance on College GameDay every Saturday, but was noticeably absent from the show over the weekend.

Pat had six picks on the board this week, but most of them didn’t go his way.

McAfee usually releases those picks on the Hammer Dahn show every Friday, or throughout the week on The Pat McAfee Show.

Even with his 2-4 showing, he’s still in the positive for this year when it comes to NFL betting. McAfee’s overall NFL record is now sitting at 21-14 for the season.

Pat McAfee FanDuel Super Boost

Since FanDuel is a big sponsor of The Pat McAfee show, the sportsbook gives McAfee custom football bets on its website and app.

Those “FanDuel Super Boosts” take one of Pat’s Picks and jack up the odds so that everyone involved can make more money.

This week’s boost was a teaser with the Chiefs and the Steelers.

Pat’s Pick: Chiefs -3.5, Steelers -7.5

Final Score: Chiefs 33, Panthers 31. Steelers 24, Cowboys 19

Did Pat Win? No, both teams failed to cover.

McAfee’s 35-24 football betting record

The winning streak is over, but there’s always next week. NFL Week 10 could be the start of another solid stretch if things go well.

Overall, it’s been a good year for McAfee when it comes to football betting.

He’s sporting a combined record of 35-24 between his college football and NFL picks.

PlayIndiana is tracking Pat’s Picks all season long, so we’ll have his updated record every week.
