2022 Indy 500 odds

Whether you’re a race fan or not, the Indy 500 has something for everyone. Even with the dreaded TV blackouts in the Indianapolis area.

Betting on the Indy 500 is a great way to mix up the typical race experience. Especially if you’re stuck listening to the radio broadcast locally.

DraftKings Indiana currently has Scott Dixon as the favorite to win the 500. Here’s a quick look at some of the odds for the the top drivers in the race:

  • Scott Dixon: +550
  • Alex Palou: +600
  • Pato O’Ward: +900
  • Rinus Veekay: +1,100
  • Josef Newgarden: +1,200

The odds could change a bit leading up to race day, so be sure to check back in with DraftKings if you don’t love the current options.

Of course, you can also wager on more than just the winner of the race. Betting on which drivers will finish in the top three and top five is also on the table.

Driver props let you unofficially match up drivers in head-to-head competitions. Think Takuma Sato will finish with a better position than Tony Kanaan? Then you can bet on it at DraftKings.

There are all sorts of special Indy 500 prop betting options available, and DraftKings has the widest selection for Hoosiers to pick from.

Caesars Sportsbook lounge at the Motor Speedway

If you’re heading to the Motor Speedway this Sunday, then you’ll have access to a special betting perk. That is, assuming that you’ve signed up for Caesars Sportsbook in the past.

The company recently signed a deal to become the official sportsbook partner of the Indy 500 and the Motor Speedway.

As part of that deal, Caesars has a new Sportsbook Lounge available at the Pagoda Plaza. The lounge is a Caesars-branded area that welcomes Indiana gamblers with free food, drinks and entertainment options during races.

Since the Indy 500 is one of the biggest events in all of motorsports, the lounge should certainly be busy this Sunday during the action.

If you’re looking for a different kind of race day experience, then checking out Ceasars Sportsbook could be worth the effort.
