Plenty of Hoosiers are already familiar with the Caesars brand. Caesars is one of the biggest Indiana sports betting companies, plus it owns a handful of casinos around the state.

However, betting at a casino doesn’t offer the same convenience as wagering from the comfort of your home.

With Caesars Racebook up and running, Indiana gamblers can place online bets on races taking place at over 250 racetracks worldwide.

Online racebooks like TVG and TwinSpires are already available in Indiana, but Caesars is hoping to carve out its own share of the state’s market.

The company is no stranger to Indiana’s horse racing industry. Its brand recognition could prove to be an advantage when it comes to attracting new gamblers in the state.

If you’ve visited one of the casinos near Indianapolis, then you might have already used the in-person version of Caesars Racebook before.

Horseshoe Indianapolis and Harrah’s Hoosier Park are the only two horse racing casinos in the state. Both properties sport huge racetrack areas for gamblers to watch and bet on horse racing.

Caesars owns both casinos, and each of them has had a racebook up and running for years now.

Indiana’s Winner’s Circle locations are in the same boat. The Caesars-owned sports pubs offer full racebooks for visitors to try out.

Between its pub and casino locations, Caesars has been taking horse racing bets for years in Indiana. Its numbers should only increase now that the company’s online racebook is up and running.

Caesars also recently opened the app for business in Florida and Ohio. The company is hoping to take bets in 30 states before long.
