The AFC South battle is starting to heat up.
Both the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans are sitting at 6-3 heading into NFL Week 11.
With the 2-7 Texans and the 1-8 Jaguars out of the picture, the division battle is now firmly between Indy and Tennessee.
The Titans have been the division favorites since mid-October, but not anymore. The Colts are back on top, but the question is, how long will it last?
AFC South betting odds
The Colts came out on top of their Week 10 bout with the Titans. That win is what finally made them the division favorites again.
Indy might be on top when it comes to the betting odds, but its a slim lead.
The odds are very similar across the state’s sportsbooks. DraftKings has Indy as the slight favorites heading into Week 11.
- Indianapolis Colts: -167
- Tennessee Titans: +115
- Houston Texans: +15,000
- Jacksonville Jaguars: +150,000
At this point, the division odds will keep switching back and forth until one of these teams starts to slip.
Neither team is getting an easy win this week either.
The Titans are up against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. The Colts are facing off with a tough Green Bay Packers squad this Sunday.
Indiana’s online sportsbooks are expecting the Colts to come out on top of Sunday’s game, but not by much. The odds are basically a toss up.
Here’s a look at those live odds for Indy’s game against the Packers:

A team could take control of the division in the coming weeks, but at least for now, every game will be a must-win.
One more Colts vs. Titans game
The most important game on the horizon for the Colts and Titans will be during Week 12. That game is important since both teams will be going head-to-head for the second time in three weeks.
The Colts won the first bout 34-17, but things might not be as easy this time around.
Since they’ve already played each other, both teams will be a little more familiar with what they’re going up against.
That matchup could end up crowning a new division favorite. But even with a new favorite, the division will still be up for grabs.
We may be in the back half of the NFL season, but there’s still seven games left on the schedule for both teams.
Four of those final Colts games are against other AFC South teams. The Titans also have a trio of division matchups left on their schedule.
Whether the Colts or the Titans end up on top, this year’s AFC South battle is shaping up to be a fun one. The division is up for grabs and both teams will be hungry to claim a playoff spot.
