Hoosier Park is another casino that’s nearby for Indianapolis residents.

Hard Rock Terre Haute isn’t open for business yet, but it’ll be the final casino option in the middle of the state once it opens in 2022.

The Hard Rock will eventually feature a sportsbook, although we don’t know many details about it yet.

Winner’s Circle Pub Indianapolis

Indiana’s Winner’s Circle locations aren’t full-fledged casinos, but they do offer another gambling option for Hoosiers.

The locations offer betting on sports and horse races at the same time via Caesars Race & Sportsbook. They’re essentially restaurants filled with beer, gambling, and a ton of televisions to watch what you’re betting on.

The Hard Rock Casino in Gary, Indiana is the state’s newest gambling spot. It opened to the public in May 2021.

The Rocksino replaced the city’s Majestic Star riverboat casinos.

Much like many of its northern Indiana counterparts, the Hard Rock is only a short drive away from Chicago.

Michigan City is the home of Blue Chip Casino.

The property is right by Lake Michigan and about an hour east of Chicago. Blue Chip is a 2,000-passenger modern yacht docked in a man-made canal.

Caesars Southern Indiana is in Elizabeth, Indiana. That puts it right across the Ohio River from Louisville. Its location allows it to compete with Churchill Downs properties in Kentucky.

A name change is likely in the future for the casino, since Caesars recently sold the building to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. That deal will finalize in the coming months.
